North Carolina - Datapulse Inc, a leading global provider of unified communications solutions for the public and private sectors, today announced that its Intuition and Progression products have been designated Nortel Select Products. Through this designation, Nortel recognizes Intuition and Progression as best-in-class technologies that strategically complement Nortel's Communication Server 1000 (CS 1000).

The Datapulse Intuition attendant console will offer North American customers fast, efficient call handling. With the integration of Microsoft OCS, attendants can now use presence technology to rapidly locate and check on the status of contacts, meaning callers receive consistently prompt and expert service.

Progression Enterprise enables users to interact, in real-time, with applications displayed on the screens of their Nortel IP phones. Available applications include corporate directory with fast search and one click dialling, corporate branding, revolving advertisements, RSS newsfeeds, emergency alerts and text messaging. Progression can also be used as a paging system, broadcasting live audio to the speakers of other IP phones cost effectively, without the expense of installing a separate PA system.
